Side Hustle: 20 Things Around The House That You Can Sell
I remember being a kid and my bargain hunting mother dragging me around to tag sales (or garage sales depending on where you’re from). As a kid I was annoyed, and wanted nothing to do with buying stuff off of some stranger’s lawn. But now as an adult, it’s so intriguing!
THIS POST CONTAINS AFFILIATE LINKS. HOWEVER, ALL OPINIONS AND ADVICE ARE MY OWN. IN ORDER TO STAY TRULY TRANSPARENT AND HONEST, I ONLY RECOMMEND SERVICES THAT I USE, LOVE AND BELIEVE WILL BENEFIT OTHERS.
These tag sales are just one example of people selling things out of their home that they no longer use. It’s the best way to both clean out your house, and make a little extra cash. And side note, Ebay is also a great place to shop for used or refurbished items. Buying used rather than new is a great way to reduce waste and reduce spending!!
Today I follow this same general plan as a bit of a side hustle, but the internet has made this much easier. Sell on Ebay, your local Facebook page, or find a selling great app. Of course a good ole tag sale is still an option, but I prefer selling from my couch while in my pajamas, but to each their own. 🙂
So, here is a big ole list of everyday items that you may have never thought could get you some extra money:
- Clothing in Good Condition
- Kitchen Gadgets
- Old Phones and Electronics
- Pieces of Broken Electronics (tablet, phone, etc.)
- Homemade Bath Product
- Homemade Crafts
- Holiday Decorations
- Lawn Equipment
- Bedding in Good Condition
- Homemade Cleaners
- Old Jewelry
- Baby Clothes
- Pots & Pans
I could keep going on and on. So the next time that you need a little extra cash, or if you just want to get your house cleared of old stuff, sell it! Go to Ebay.com, sign up for an account and get started. They walk you through everything and it’s super easy to get started.
Get that money guys!! Please let me know in the comments if you have had success selling your old stuff.
