Crockpot Mac N Cheese

Need a dish to bring to a party or family gathering? Or just need a inexpensive meal to feed the fam? This dish is both delicious and inexpensive. This mac n cheese is so yummy that it has turned into my go-to for any pot luck occasion!

Today is Easter and the usual family tradition is a lunch time feast, pot luck style, at my grandfather’s house. This is the best because we all split the cooking duties so as to keep stress levels down.

Today I did my grocery shopping for the ingredients and only spent $20. Yes, only $20 to make enough mac n cheese to feed my extended family. I know what you are thinking, why the heck would you go to the grocery store the day before a holiday?!? I know, it was no fun! But with a busy schedule you do what you can.

Let’s get started with the recipe!!! It’s so super easy. You start by cooking the pasta for about five minutes. I like to keep mine a little bit al dente because the noodles will be cooking longer in the crockpot. And you do not want mushy noodles.

Once the pasta is done, drain it and rinse. Using the same pot, melt the butter and the cheese together.

When the cheese is all melty, pour the cheese and butter mixture into the crockpot. Then, add all other ingredients and give it a good stir. It looks so yummy already!!

Cover and turn the crockpot on low for about two hours. Enjoy this yummy and inexpensive meal year round!
